Ohh what a nice weekend. Mets win the series 2-1, in fact we lost the second game because Wagner struggles, which is not so frequent. Would be great a sweep, even when Pedro Martinez pitch like gem. A what about Friday's game. Ohhh, that ninth inning will be memorable when David Wright blasted that double, and Aaron Heilman pitch 3 innings like the starter we need, but Willie says no no. Anyway, let's forget the weekend and we must concentrate on today's game and these 3 games with the Phillies since we have this guys 3 games behind us, and last time we played very bad. Steve Traschel pitched very good on last game but the team didn't helped. So, I hope today we can see a different path.

That's what Willie Randolph says on the mets blog. I can't believe this, he allowed 5 runs in 4.2 innings in his last game, has 3 loss in 3 starts and has a record allowing 5 runs all 3 games? What the heck I'm missing, I don't believe this. Check out the quote:

Brian Bannister hurt again

Bannister was pitching in Virginia for the Mets' Norfolk Tides affiliate against Toledo. He moved to cover first base when the game's second batter hit a ground ball and experienced the tightness then.

Jose Reye went 4-2 with 3 RBI's last night and the mets win 8-3. The rain was favorable to us apparently, explodingthe bats in the 8th inning with 4 runs. Cliff Floyd wake up yesterday and went 4-2 also. Tom Glavine pitch six solid innings allowing only 3 runs. Mets win 8-3.

How many times I saw this same stupid situation? It remember me last season, when the bullpen struggles all the time. If you are in the bottom of 9th inning 4-4 with 2 outs and your pitcher allow a triple, then hit by a pitch and then a walk, why wait for more? I don't understand, use another pitcher. Bobby Abreu (lefty) what's the problem with Billy wagner? It's a lefty too, use him, but no. Willie prefered to lose the game.

In the 90's it was Bobby Bonilla with a huge salary. Now it seems that Carlos Beltran it's on the same boat. I beat that Lastings Milledge can do Beltran's job better than him. This guy is the top prospect of the mets organization. Here is a list of "Don't touch" players:

David Wright - If this guy leaves the mets one day, I will cry, honestly.
Lastings Milledge - This is a future star.
Mark Pelfrey - Top pitching prospect, this must be on the rotation NOW!

What a game for today. Ramon Ortiz (0-3) 6.75 ERA vs. Victor Zambrano (1-2) 9.64 ERA. Who's the worst? Since last Zambrano's game I've decided to not see anymore games when Zambrano pitching. Every year, every month, and every day...the question goes to my mind, why? why the mets trade Scott Kazmir.

Tom Glavine was solid, relivers also. We demonstrate the solid bullpen we have. Atlanta fans now see more realistic that Mets it's a mayor problem for his team. I sayed that because, when Mets and Braves faced in Shea, Mets losses 2 games of 3. Yeah, I was like "oh my god, we have a great team but still not winning to this guys". Finally we saw Carlos Beltran playing after their harmstring. So let's see what happen today (Sunday) we we throw Steve Traschel, which by the way has good numbers versus the Braves, this evening. I'm hoping a super sweeeeep!
