The FIFA world cup took my attention
Sorry, but the world cup took my attention. Anyway where are in first place, we have a wonderful team, playing excellent, kaz matsui was traded. Lastings Milledge is playing. I feel good! I don't know what else to say, ohh yeah we win yesterday too. :D

Mets sweep Arizona
Mets sweep the Arizona Diamodbacks in a big way. Carlos Delgado had three hits and Beltran drove four runs. Pedro Martinez got his 6th win of the season since April.

EL Duque shuts down former team
A spectacular performer by Orlando El Duque Hernandez allowing one run and just three hits and a walk in his first complete game since September 2000. Exactly what the mets needed to boost their rotation. Carlos Beltran hit his 15th home run and Endy Chavez delivered three RBIs.

Alay Soler got his first win
Jose Reyes led off the game with a homer, and Carlos Delgado followed with a two-run shot three batters later. Alay Soler did the rest, pitching seven one-run innings, dropping two successful sacrifice bunts and collecting both the first victory.
